We do not currently use any analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics), advertising cookies, or social media tracking pixels on this website.

3. Third-Party Services

When you submit our contact form, your data is handled by Formspree (formspree.io). Formspree may set its own cookies or use other storage mechanisms as part of its form-processing service. We do not control these. Please refer to Formspree's privacy policy for details of how they handle data.

Our website uses fonts served by Google Fonts. When your browser loads these fonts, a request is made to Google's servers. Google may log the request (including your IP address) in accordance with their own privacy policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy. Google Fonts does not set cookies on our site.

4. Why We Use localStorage for Reflections

The self-reflection feature on our homepage is designed to help you think through your coaching goals before getting in touch with us. Saving your answers locally means:

  • You can take your time completing the reflection without losing your answers.
  • You can return to the page later and continue where you left off.
  • Your reflection remains entirely private on your device until you choose to submit it.

This functionality does not require us to set any cookies, and the data is never transferred to our servers without your explicit action of submitting the contact form.

5. Your Consent and Legal Basis

Under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) and UK GDPR:

  • The localStorage items we use (ovp_ref_q1 to ovp_ref_q4) are strictly necessary for the self-reflection feature you have chosen to engage with. Strictly necessary storage does not require your prior consent.
  • We do not use any cookies or storage for analytics, advertising, or non-essential purposes that would require your consent.

Should we introduce any non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this policy and implement an appropriate consent mechanism before doing so.

6. How to Manage or Delete Stored Data

You can control and delete localStorage data at any time through your browser settings. Here is how to do so in common browsers:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Clear browsing data → Advanced → Hosted app data
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Clear Data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings → Privacy, search, and services → Clear browsing data → Cookies and other site data

Alternatively, most browsers allow you to open Developer Tools (F12), navigate to Application → Local Storage → ovpcoaching.co.uk, and delete individual keys directly.

Please note that clearing localStorage for our site will erase any saved reflection answers. This will not affect your ability to use the website.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example if we introduce new website features. Any changes will be published on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
